A group of developers, including 13th Floor Investments and Key International, is planning to submit a proposal for a master-planned community in Delray Beach.

The development would be built off of Congress Avenue and include 524 rental apartments in seven buildings, 123 condos in four buildings, 112 rental townhouses, 70,000 square feet of office space, 100,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space and a 1.8-acre park, plus a community pool and clubhouse, according to the Sun Sentinel.

13th Floor, Key International, CDS International Holdings and New Urban Communities are expected to present their proposal in November or December, the newspaper reported.

The nearly 50-acre development site currently includes three vacant office buildings totaling about 567,500 square feet and is under contract through Transamerica Life Insurance for an undisclosed price. It also includes the former Office Depot headquarters.

Key International and 13th Floor have partnered on projects together in the past, completing 1010 Brickell last year.  [Sun Sentinel] – Katherine Kallergis
