Pre-construction sales of vacation homes launched at Margaritaville Resort Orlando

Prices for the cottage-style private homes, which owners can rent, start in the low $300,000s at the 300-acre Margaritaville resort, which will open in January

Pre-construction sales of cottage-style vacation homes are under way at Margaritaville Resort Orlando, a 300-acre resort that will open next month.

Available in the resort’s Paradise Cay section are 187 cottages with prices starting in the low $300,000s.

Potential buyers who register for a Paradise Cay preview event will get the first opportunity to choose the lots where their cottages would be built.

Owners will have the option to rent their cottages, which will be near shops, spas and entertainment venues including a dine-in movie theater and a water park called Island H20 Live! The water park is scheduled to open in spring. Developed by Jim Bagley, Margaritaville Orlando Resort also will feature a 184-room hotel.

Paradise Cay is the second phase of vacation home development at the resort. The first phase is called Sunset Cove.

“Our first community of cottage owners are moving in,” Tad Serbin, director of cottage sales at Margaritaville Resort Orlando. “The cottage neighborhood is within walking distance of the entire resort, allowing owners and renters to be in the hub of the action and excitement, yet also have their own retreat away from it all.” – Mike Seemuth
