South Florida construction firm exec buys at Auberge in Fort Lauderdale
Oliver Von Troll and his wife closed on two units on the 17th floor of the 23-story building
The president of a South Florida construction firm plunked down $5.3 million for two units at Auberge Beach Residences & Spa in Fort Lauderdale.
Oliver Von Troll, president of KD Construction, and his wife Dianna Von Troll, closed on units 1704 and 1705, likely combined, in the 23-story south tower of the two-building luxury condo project at 2200 North Ocean Boulevard.
Von Troll’s company has worked on construction of Adagio Fort Lauderdale Beach, Midtown 29, the first tower at Metropica, the Rise at Flagler Village, The Dalmar Tribute hotel in Fort Lauderdale and others, according to KD Construction’s website.
The Related Group, Fortune International Group and the Fairwinds Group developed Auberge. Buyers include Citrix CEO David Henshall, former Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino and Jacob Trouba of the Winnipeg Jets. Last year, the son of Salmar Properties founder Sal Rusi paid $9.3 million for a penthouse in the north tower.
Auberge features a full-service salon, plunge pool, and indoor and outdoor cabanas.
KD Construction is led by founder and CEO Karl Davis. Von Troll, who oversees the company’s day-to-day operations, previously owned his own development and drywall company, according to his bio.
