It may not have the ring of say, 90210, but Miami’s Fisher Island 33109 is America’s richest ZIP code.

The exclusive community — which covers Miami and Miami Beach — held on to the No. 1 spot on Bloomberg’s annual ranking of the 100 wealthiest ZIPs in the U.S. Residents of the 216-acre island — accessible by ferry only — reported an average income of $2.2 million. More than 700 families from over 45 countries live on Fisher Island. Current and past residents of 33109 include Oprah Winfrey, Andre Agassi and Caroline Wozniacki. Palm Beach, Florida, home to President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, ranked No. 4 with an average income of more than $1 million.

Neighborhoods in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago also made the top 20 ranking.

New York’s 10007, which includes the southern portion of Tribeca, was the fifth-richest in the U.S. The average annual income there was $879,000

Los Angeles also made the cut, with residents in 90067 — which includes Beverly Hills — making an average of $826,000 a year. The L.A. city was the eighth-wealthiest. Newport Beach, California, cracked the list last year, ranking 17th with an average income of $623,000. Beverly Hills’ 90210 did not make the full list.

Chicago ranked No. 12, up from the 37th spot in 2018. Chicagoans in 60604 averaged nearly $740,000 a year.

Wealth was concentrated in just eight counties in the top 50 zip codes. While the Bloomberg ranking of the top five zips has stayed mostly the same in recent years, it could change as wealthy buyers decide to migrate to low-tax states like Florida and Nevada in response to the recent changes in federal tax laws[Bloomberg]Katherine Kallergis
