The Taños bought the property for $3.3 million in 2003 and completed building the house in 2007, records show. It has five bedrooms and five bathrooms.

Dr. Taño is a neonatologist who has worked as the director of multiple neonatal units in South Florida. He specializes in treating high-risk and prematurely born babies. He is also the medical director of Kidz Medical Services, a pediatric multi-specialty practice.

Nearby at 41 Arvida Parkway, a 14,000-square-foot Coral Gables estate is listed for $68 million and will head to auction this week. The estate will be auctioned by Concierge Auctions, said Marc Hameroff, who has the listing with Lourdes Alatriste. Both work for Engel & Völkers Miami.
