Arquitectonica co-founders Bernardo Fort-Brescia and Laurinda Spear sold a bayfront lot in Coconut Grove near their home for $10.2 million, property records show.

Fort Family Moorings and Skyscraper LLC sold the 2-acre property at 3300 South Moorings Way to Phillip Sylvester and Leah Janel Sylvester of Miami Beach. Fort-Brescia and Spear still own their waterfront home at 3315 Devon Court, near developer Jorge Pérez.

Jill Hertzberg of The Jills Zeder Group at Coldwell Banker represented the seller, and Nicole Pearl of Drive Realty brought the buyer, according to Realtor.com. The property, which includes an 800-square-foot house built in 1984, hit the market last year for $13 million.

The nearly 73,000-square-foot lot includes 162 feet of water frontage with wide bay views and direct access to the Atlantic Ocean. It last sold in 2015 for $5 million.

Coconut Grove-based Arquitectonica is handling the design of a number of major projects in South Florida, including the Park on Fifth a condo tower in South Beach developed by Crescent Heights and Terra, and Related Group’s proposal for its property on Terminal Island.

The family behind the architecture and design firm owns commercial land in the Grove, including the Engle building near CocoWalk and the site of the Cipriani family’s recently completed Mr. C hotel.
