Future San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa is buying a luxury condo on Fort Lauderdale Beach.

Bosa, a Fort Lauderdale native, is paying $1.24 million for a unit at 30 Thirty North Ocean, a 24-unit boutique condo development that’s nearly completed, according to a press release. Boca was a first round NFL draft pick who previously played for Ohio State University.

Bosa’s unit will have 2,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor space and a private elevator. His mother, Cheryl Bosa, headEngel & Völkers Fort Lauderdale’s sports and entertainment division, represented him in the deal.

Cavache Properties is the developer behind 30 Thirty North Ocean. The firm financed construction of the project with a $17 million loan in April 2018. Construction topped off in October.

Cavache announced the sale to Nick Bosa days after the rookie player agreed to a four-year, $33.55 million contract with the 49ers, according to Sports Illustrated.

A number of current and retired NFL players call South Florida home. Earlier this month, former New England Patriots tight end Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski paid $1.7 million for a unit at Marquis Miami.
