Miami Beach agents Giorgio Vecchi and Dario Stoka left Brown Harris Stevens Miami to join Douglas Elliman.

Together, they form the Vecchi + Stoka Group. The two agents closed a combined $45 million in sales volume last year, Stoka said. They approached Jay Parker, CEO of Douglas Elliman Florida, to join the firm, they both said.

Stoka said it “seemed like a perfect time to move,” adding that the duo needed a change and were looking “for the exposure Douglas Elliman had locally and internationally,” citing its partnership with Knight Frank.

Phil Gutman, president of Brown Harris Stevens Miami, said “they had tremendous success while at BHS” and wished them well on their future endeavors.

They had been with Brown Harris Stevens since it acquired Zilbert International Realty in 2015, and with Zilbert before that, for a total of about 10 years. Mark Zilbert sold his boutique South-of-Fifth brokerage to Brown Harris Stevens and stayed on as managing broker for two years. He remains a broker with the firm.

The Vecchi + Stoka Group focuses on luxury condos in Miami Beach, and also handles sales of luxury homes in Coconut Grove and on Miami Beach. They recently represented the buyer of unit 3303 in the south tower of the Continuum, which sold in August for $8.45 million.

At Elliman, they’ll be working out of the company’s Lincoln Road office. Vecchi and Stoka said they had worked with Parker for years before he became CEO of Elliman Florida, when he owned the title company Clear Title Group.
