South Florida real estate developer Myron Miller and his wife sold their 1930 Palm Beach estate for $13.6 million.

The house and guest house at 134 El Vedado Road total 7,368 square feet and sold for $1,845 per square foot, records show. The Delano Family Trust, led by Tamara and Randolph Delano, bought the property.

Myron Miller and his dad Robert are tied to a real estate development group based in Cleveland that developed retail shopping centers and led renovations at the 13-acre Jupiter Pointe Club & Marina, according to the Palm Beach Daily News.

The house was designed by famed Palm Beach architect John Volk, who worked on the restoration of The Breakers after its use as an army hospital during World War II, according to Palm Beach County History Online. The architect also designed Royal Poinciana Plaza.

The home sits on 1.2 acres. It has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms, along with a two-bedroom guest house with a living room and kitchen. The property also has a pool and a tennis court.

A majority of the priciest home sales in the tri-county region in 2019 were on the barrier island of Palm Beach. At the top of the list was the $105 million purchase of the 10-bedroom estate at 1415 South Ocean Boulevard by billionaire hedge funder Steven Schonfeld and his wife Brooke.

In 2018, Robert R. Hermann Jr., an heir to the late beer magnate August A. Busch Jr., paid $11.3 million for a 12,600-square-foot mansion at 210 El Vedado Road, down the road from the Delanos’ new residence.
