Luggage designer sells waterfront Boca Raton mansion for $6M

The head of a luggage design company sold a waterfront mansion in Boca Raton’s Woodfield Country Club for $6.2 million.

John Pulichino, CEO of Group III International, and his wife Joy Tong, sold the 9,043-square-foot home at 3621 Princeton Place to Susan Tannenbaum for $685 per square foot, records show.

Pulichino’s Pompano Beach-based company designs and markets travel and work gear and developed the SWISSGEAR brand through a partnership with the Wenger Swiss Army Knife brand, according to a press release. His company has also worked with BMW.

Pulichino and his wife bought the property in 1993 for $450,000 and built the home in 1995, records show. It was listed for $7 million in March.

The mansion has seven bedrooms and eight-and-a-half bathrooms.

The buyer and seller were represented by Elliot Koolik with Compass Florida, according to Realtor.com.

Boca Raton has seen a number of high-profile sales over the past year. In October, Robert Sheetz, the founder of the Sheetz convenience store and gas station chain, sold a waterfront estate at 133 West Coconut Palm Road in the Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club for $11.45 million.

In September, a group of executives tied to a West Palm Beach transportation company bought a 9,203-square-foot house at 300 East Key Palm Road in the Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club for $12.1 million.
