Movers & Shakers: Koniver Stern brings on brokers, Elmir Group joins One Sotheby’s

UPDATED, June 29, 2:25 p.m.: Jordan Gimelstein and David Spitz joined Koniver Stern Group to head its investment sales division. Gimelstein and Spitz were previously with Dwntwn Realty Advisors. Together they have more than 15 years of experience and sales totaling over $250 million.

Meanwhile, Dwntwn Realty Advisors brought on David Lerner and Myles Stepner as executives. Lerner will focus on leasing in Dwntwn’s core neighborhoods, and Stepner will focus on investment sales. Stepner is joining from Avison Young, while Lerner has experience working with his family’s portfolio of properties in Wynwood.

Karen Elmir’s the Elmir Group joined One Sotheby’s International Realty from Cervera Real Estate. Elmir has sold more than $500 million of listings across South Florida. Her team is now based out of One Sotheby’s downtown Miami office. She recently represented the buyer of an $11 million sale at One Thousand Museum and a $13.2 sale at Brickell Flatiron.

Christopher Twist joined Colliers International Florida as a senior director based in South Florida. He works with triple net-leased properties across the country, and has been involved in more than $2 billion worth of commercial real estate deals. Twist was previously a principal at Dodge Real Estate Corp.

Blanca Commercial Real Estate brought on Sky Jones as an associate and Katrina Mirazo as a leasing and marketing coordinator. Jones was previously an associate at JLL, and Mirazo previously held positions at The Collection and as senior regional manager for Newmark Knight Frank.
