A Miami Beach lawyer sold his waterfront Allison Island home for $5 million.

Jonathan D. Beloff and his wife, Marisue, sold their home at 6525 Allison Road to 6525 Allison LLC, a Florida company managed by Matthew Sidman.

Jonathan Beloff is the founder and senior partner of Beloff Law, P.A. in Miami Beach. The firm specializes in commercial and financing transactions, according to its website. He founded the firm in 1999.

Property records show the Belloffs bought the property in 1985 for $340,000. The house was built in 1937. According to records, the Beloffs have made such improvements as window and roof replacements.

The house hit the market in June, asking $6.2 million. The most recent asking price was $5.8 million in October.

Ida Schwartz of Compass represented the sellers, and Simone Weissman with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty represented the buyers, according to Realtor.com.

The 3,558-square-foot house sits on a 16,200-square-foot waterfront lot with 75 feet of water frontage, according to the listing. The home features five bedrooms and five bathrooms.

Last month, a waterfront spec home on Allison Island sold for $13 million.
