Carmenate and Duchon have sold more than $2.5 billion in sales volume over their careers, according to the release. Recently, they brokered the nearly $15 million sale of a townhouse at 1500 Ocean Drive in Miami Beach. Late last year, they represented longtime TV and film producer Douglas Cramer and his husband Hubert Bush III in their sale of their waterfront La Gorce Island mansion for $23 million.

Carmenate and Duchon were not available for an interview.

A spokesperson for Elliman wished them luck in their new venture.

Corcoran expanded to Miami Beach in 2019 when it brought on top Miami Beach broker Julian Johnston. Johnston had previously worked for himself as broker and owner of Calibre International Realty. Corcoran, which has offices in Palm Beach County, continued expanding in Miami-Dade in 2019 when it opened an office in Surfside and poached Silvia Coltrane from her own firm.
