A trust linked to the co-founder of a telecommunications and media company bought an oceanfront Hillsboro Beach mansion for $23 million.

Records show The 1007 Hillsboro Land Trust purchased the home at 1007 Hillsboro Mile from Thomas S. and Michelle Murphy. Evan Grayer is a trustee of the buying trust.

Grayer is the co-founder of New York-based Simple Networks. He was formerly the senior vice president of broadband for DirecTV Latin America, according to his Linkedin profile.

The Murphys took over ownership of the house in 2013. Records show the two also own a five-bedroom home in Boca Raton, which they bought in 2019.

D’Angelo, Jr. declined to comment on the identities of the sellers.

Built in 1996, the 10,887-square-foot, two-story house has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, according to property records.

According to the listing, the property also features a combined 161 feet of ocean and Intracoastal frontage, with a dock equipped for a mega-yacht.
