TV personality Louis Walsh sells Fendi Château condo for $5M

Sellers bought the condo for $2.6M in 2016

An entity tied to Irish TV personality Louis Walsh sold a condo at Fendi Château Residences in Surfside for $5.3 million.

Walmo LLC, a Delaware corporation led by Walsh and Desmond Morris, sold unit 403 at 9349 Collins Avenue to BBG & M LLC, a California corporation, records show.

Walsh is an Irish music manager and television personality. He was formerly a judge on the British television show “The X Factor.” According to The Irish Times, Walsh and Morris are both managers of Brill Management Limited.

Walmo LLC purchased the unit for $2.6 million in 2016, property records show. The condo hit the market in 2017, asking $6.3 million. The most recent asking price was $5.4 million in July. The unit sold for $1,673 per square foot.

Victoria Federici with Gray & Associates Properties represented the seller, and Gabriela Dajer of One Sotheby’s International Realty represented the buyer.

The three-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom condo features marble floors that were installed by the sellers throughout its 3,168 square feet.

The 12-story, 58-unit Fendi Château Residences was completed in 2016. Designed by Arquitectonica, units range in size from three bedrooms with more than 3,000 square feet to three penthouses with more than 7,000 square feet, each, with a 4,000-square-foot private rooftop pool deck and summer kitchens.

At the start of this year, multifamily real estate investor Irving Langer sold his penthouse at Fendi Château Residences for $16.8 million. In December, Access Industries executive Alex Blavatnik bought a unit for $12.2 million.
