Does it come with a cherry on top?

Doris Mattus Hurley, daughter of the co-founders of Haagen-Dazs, sold her waterfront Boca Raton mansion for $8.7 million.

Hurley and her husband, Kevin, sold the home at 4400 Sanctuary Lane as trustees of The Doris Mattus Hurley Living Trust, according to records.

Doris Hurley is one of two daughters of the late Reuben and Rose Mattus, the founders of Haagen-Dazs. They founded the ice cream company in New York in 1960. Pillsbury bought the company in 1983 for an estimated $76 million, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Darielle Singerman is the buyer. She is the wife of Aaron Singerman, founder and CEO of sports supplement company Redcon1.

The Hurleys purchased the 12,974-square-foot mansion in 2003 for $4.6 million, and renovated the interior in 2003, according to property records. The house was built in 1985.

According to Zillow, the home was first listed in 2009 for $10 million. The most recent asking price was $9 million in December.

John Poletto of One Sotheby’s International Realty represented the seller, and Brad Schwartzman with Vue Real Estate represented the buyer.

The five-bedroom, six-and-a-half bathroom home has 70 feet of deep water frontage, according to the listing.

Among other recent sales in Boca Raton, the former head of Facebank bought a waterfront spec home for $12.1 million; a homebuilder sold a house for $6.1 million; and the co-CEO of a private equity firm bought a spec home for $6.7 million.
