    The Real Deal South Florida is a must-read news source for real estate news in the South Florida-metro area. We deliver up-to-the-minute reports on all facets of the real estate industry on our website. The Real Deal also publishes a New York monthly real estate magazine and New York real estate website, covering all the important stories, big or small, that matter to real estate professionals.

    stuart Stuart Elliott is the editor-in-chief of The Real Deal, a role he has held since the magazine first started in 2003. He has worked at the New York Times, among other publications, and is a graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.Twitter_logo_blue copy
    HG Heather Grossmann joined The Real Deal as the editorial development director in 2014. Previously she was associate publisher at the local news site, which operates in both New York and Chicago. She started as a reporter then editor at DNAinfo, then took some time out of her five-year tenure there to launch MetroFocus, a news and culture website and TV show for WNET/Thirteen, NYC’s local PBS station. Prior to her journalism career, Heather worked extensively in business development and event production for media companies. She has a master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.  
    Ina-Cordle-The-Real-Deal Ina Cordle is the managing editor of the The Real Deal in South Florida, overseeing the publication’s expanded coverage and staff. She previously spent 19 years as a business reporter at the Miami Herald. Her experience also includes nearly a decade in corporate lending at Southeast Bank. Ina holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona, and a master’s degree in mass communications from Florida International University.     Katherine-1 Katherine Kallergis is a reporter and web producer at The Real Deal South Florida. She joined the publication in December 2014. Previously, she wrote for the Miami Herald.     Sean Sean Stewart-Muniz is a reporter/producer at The Real Deal South Florida. He joined the publication in early 2015 after covering business for the Gainesville Sun, a newspaper in North Central Florida, and writing his university’s newspaper the Independent Florida Alligator.     KBWeb Kerry Barger is the social media editor for The Real Deal. Before joining the magazine in February 2014, Kerry spearheaded social and digital media efforts at Houlihan Lawrence, a residential brokerage based in Westchester County.      IMG_3408 copy Yoav Barilan is the director of marketing operations at The Real Deal. He has been with the company since its inception in 2003. Barilan has helped grow the advertising department from a two man operation out of publisher Amir Korangy’s Brooklyn home to one of the most fierce and revered in New York City publishing, with more advertising contracts than any other regional publication. “Some credit our success to my military discipline, but the fact is that I just love what I do and I do it blindly,” he said. When asked about rumors of him being a Mossad assassin, Barilan said, “There is no factual proof of that. I have work to do.”
    Ross-Fox Ross Fox is the National Advertising Director at The Real Deal, which he joined as a salesperson in 2010, rigorously working his way up to becoming the advertising director of both the New York and South Florida versions of the publication. He now manages a sales team of 12 in both New York and Florida. He is a graduate of St. John’s University and lives in Hell’s Kitchen.
    IMG_3360 copy Eran Evron, a member of the advertising sales department, was born in Israel in 1975. He joined The Real Deal in February 2005 as the company’s first hire. Since then, Evron has pioneered the company’s participation in numerous real estate events and expos as well as our annual almanac, the Data Book.

    IMG_3383 copy Rob Stearns has worked on the sales team at The Real Deal since 2010. Born in Brooklyn, he has lived in Denver, Connecticut, Arkansas and Vermont and graduated from San Francisco State University and Sierra College, also in Northern California. He came to The Real Deal with a background in magazine sales, having worked for two years at the Brooklyn Daily Eagle. Working at The Real Deal has taught him much about sales and people, while also giving him a behind-the-scenes look at how real estate operates in the greatest city in the world.

She graduated from Hofstra University with a focus in marketing and business administration. Prior to joining The Real Deal, Chadi interned at an international marketing firm in Israel.
    Sigal Sigalit Levi is the Chief Business Development Officer at The Real Deal. She was born in Israel, and moved to NYC after completing her military service in the Israeli army. Prior to joining The Real Deal, Sigalit was the Executive Director of Advertising for The Jerusalem Post’s newspaper, website and magazine. She has a fifteen-year history of exceeding goals and developing new revenue streams.
    Andrew-Levey Andrew Levey, a member of The Real Deal‘s advertising sales team, worked on Wall Street for 20 years before joining the company in 2016. He’s the father of four beautiful kids and lives on Long Island, where he enjoys surfing and fishing.
    IMG_3459 copy Junaid Zahid is the Director of Digital Marketing at The Real Deal. He joined the team in May 2011 and oversees the company’s digital ad efforts. Zahid has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Mathematics from Baruch College with an eye on getting his Masters in the same field.
    IMG_3445 copy Kenneth Cyrus is the finance director at The Real Deal and also handles human resources for the company, which he joined in May 2012. For 13 years, he worked as accounting manager for Adrea Rubin Marketing in New York City, then for a short time as the business unit controller at UBS in Stamford, Conn. Cyrus is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Accounting. He is the father of three sons, one of whom is serving in the U.S. Army and has served a year in Afghanistan.
