Igor Olenicoff, head of real estate development firm Olen Properties, tops the list of richest Floridians with real estate ties. He’s worth $2.6 billion, making him the 150th richest American. Next is businessman Wayne Huizenga who is worth $2.3 billion and famously sold stakes in several high-profile hotels, including the Hyatt Pier 66 Hotel and Radisson Bahia Mar Hotel & Marina in Fort Lauderdale and the Boca Raton Resort & Club. He is 171st on the list.

Two hundredth on the list is Palm Beach resident Jeff Greene, who, like his friend John Paulson, made a killing betting on the collapse of the real estate market during the housing peak. Alfred Clark, chairman of builder Clark Enterprises and Igor Olenicoff, rounds out the list of South Florida residents that cracked the list. [Forbes]
