After being awarded the construction contract, New York-based Plaza Construction has broken ground on the Related Group’s new $105 million, 42-story condominium development, Millecento Residences by Pininfarina, the firm announced.  The project is slated for completion in 2014.

Architect Carlos Ott, along with Pininfarina — the Italian design firm’s first U.S. project — and Miami’s Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates are handling design for the 691,610-square-foot residential condominium tower, located Miami’s Brickell neighborhood at 1100 South Miami Avenue. When completed the tower will house 382 high-end condo units, featuring amenities such as club rooms, a theatre, cabanas, a party room, infinity pool, spa and fitness center.
