The owner of the former Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach has completed the rebranding of the 309-room hotel as the Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa.

Management at the 100 South Ocean Boulevard luxury resort unveiled a new entrance sign, wrapping up a seven-month transition from the Ritz flag, the Sun-Sentinel reported. Ownership officially parted ways with the Ritz-Carlton Co. and Marriott International last summer after a two-year legal fight over management fees.

The resort is now affiliated with marketing partner Preferred Hotels & Resorts of Chicago. The company has more than 250 independent high-end hotels in its portfolio. The rebranded Eau Palm includes a new “living room” relaxation area and welcoming gifts like champagne, tote bags and sandals for guests. [Sun-Sentinel]Eric Kalis
