The week in renderings: ICA, Lincoln Lane and more

Another week in the South Florida real estate world yielded a batch of fresh project renderings. This week The Real Deal looks at the unveiling of designs for two Miami museums, a Sunny Isles condo and Miami Beach retail space.

1. Institute of Contemporary Art Miami, Miami Design District | Scheduled opening: 2016

Funded by auto mogul Norman Braman, ICA Miami was born after the board of North Miami’s MOCA ended their association with the museum. Designed by Madrid-based Aranguren & Gallegos Arquitectos, the 37,000-square-foot building located in the Design District will feature a 15,000-square foot sculpture garden.

2. Lincoln Lane, Miami Beach | Scheduled groundbreaking: 2015

Terranova Corp. is working on several of its properties in Miami’s Lincoln Road area. One of them is 723 Lincoln Lane, a three-story, 45,000-square-foot building that will have room for retail shops on the ground level and an anchor store on the second and third floors.

3. Latin American Art Museum, Miami | Scheduled opening: 2016

Wynwood art gallery owner Gary Nader revealed his plans for the $50 million museum, designed by Fernando Romero Enterprise. The 90,000-square-foot museum will feature permanent and rotating exhibits, space for emerging artists and a top floor restaurant.

4. Cornfeld West, Sunny Isles Beach | Scheduled opening: unknown

Kobi Karp designed this 26-story building that will feature a 150-room hotel and 122 condo units. The project is being revised as the current designs exceed height restrictions, according to The Next Miami.
