Avison Young is an international commercial real estate brokerage firm headquartered in Toronto, Canada. It was founded in Edmonton, Canada as Graeme Young and Associates in 1978 and then later merged with Avison & Associates. Avison Young currently employes more than 1,500 real estate professionals in 59 offices. It currently has more than 70 million square feet under management. It is the largest privately held brokerage in Canada. Mark Rose has been Chairman and CEO of Avison Young since 2008.

The New York office of Avison Young was opened in the fall of 2011 by Greg Kraut, a former vice president and commercial broker at CBRE. In 2012, Avison Young was accused of poaching their brokers from other competing New York firms, and BCG Partners filed a lawsuit claiming Avison Young illegally looted business opportunities from its Grubb & Ellis subsidiary.
