Bank Leumi USA is the American subsidiary of one of Israels largest banks by assets, Bank Leumi le-Israel, B.M. It is a FDIC-insured bank that provides commercial financial services to mid-sized firms and high-net-worth private banking clients. Bank Leumi USAs brokerage subsidiary is called Leumi Investment Services Inc. Its Israeli parent bank, in which the Israeli government retains a 14.8% stake, trades on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TSE) under the ticker symbol LUMI. Billionaire Shlomo Eliyahu and Branea Invest each hold 10% stakes in the bank and these two investors, by working together, control Bank Leumi le-Israel, B.M. Bank Leumi USA opened in New York in 1954 and has grown into the largest subsidiary of the Leumi Group. Since 2013, Avner Mendelson has served as the US bank units chief executive officer and president. MK
