Capstone Equities is a New York City-based, privately-held real estate investment firm, established by Joshua Zamir and Daniel Ghadamian in 2007. The firm has acquired $1 billion worth of real estate, according to its own estimates. The firm has made joint venture investments with partners that include The Carlyle Group, Capmark Investors (TRECAP Partners), and Harbor Group International. Capstones properties include 1 and 30 Flatbush Avenue, 14 Wall Street, 570 Seventh Avenue, and The Beekman Tower. In 2015, Capstone and GreenOak Real Estate, a joint venture partner, acquired the former Playboy Club at 5 East 59th Street. They plan to reposition it into a retail showroom and office property.
