Downtown Brooklyn Partnership is a non-profit organization that raises awareness about the benefits of living in, doing business in, shopping in, and visiting downtown Brooklyn. It administers three business improvement districts (BIDs), the MetroTech BID, Fulton Mall Improvement Association, and Court-Livingston-Schermerhorn BID that together control a million square feet of public space. The partnerships employees work to convince business owners to invest in the neighborhood. One of its initiatives involved the partnership leasing space from building owners in the Fulton Mall area, renovating it for office tenants, and subleasing it. As of 2015, Downtown Brooklyn Partnership was run by Tucker Reed. MK
