Edward J. Minskoff Equities is a privately held real estate investment and development firm that owns and manages almost 6 million square feet of office, retail and residential space.

Most of its portfolio is in Manhattan, and the most prominent piece of that portfolio is perhaps 51 Astor Place, a 13-story, 430,000-square-foot building comprising an entire block between Third and Fourth Avenues. Minskoff finished building the glassy complex in early 2013 and leased it up two years later, when IBM's addition of 25,401 square feet brought the technology giant's footprint to 143,836 feet.

Other Minskoff properties include the office buildings 101 Avenue of the Americas and 590 Madison Avenue. The firm has also developed and marketed higher-end residential properties, including the condos at 101 Warren Street, 89 Murray Street and 37 East 12th Street.

Edward J. Minskoff, the CEO of now-defunct Canadian developer Olympia & York, started the eponymous company in May 1987. He remains its president. The firm is headquartered at 1325 Sixth Avenue.
