Fetner-Properties

Fetner Properties is a the privately held development, management and investment firm whose portfolio in New York City includes 1212 Fifth Avenue, 1214 Fifth Avenue, the Victory on 10th Avenue and the Chesapeake on First Avenue.

The late Sidney Fetner started the firm in 1949 with a vacant-lot purchase in the Bronx and quickly expanded into developments and acquisitions in the Bronx. The vast majority of its holdings in New York are higher-end apartments with retail components. Fetner also owns a 404-home development in Maryland.

The firm has done a lot of development work in New York with the Durst Organization in a partnership called Durst Fetner Residential. These have included the mixed-use project at 855 Sixth Avenue and the luxury rental at 125 West 31st Street.
