Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson is a New York City-based international law firm. The original practice dates back to the 1890s, and today Fried Frank has over 450 attorneys at offices on three continents. Major corporate clients include Goldman Sachs, Humana, American Express and Tishman Speyer.

The firms real estate practice focuses on development, acquisitions, restructuring, litigation, leasing, grants, financings, and other aspects of the law for developers and institutional clients. Major representations include counsel to Google in its $1.8 billion acquisition of 11 Eighth Avenue, the largest single building transaction of 2010. Fried Frank has also counseled Tishman Speyer through billions of dollars or property acquisitions including the MetLife Building. Other major real estate players represented by Fried Frank include Macklowe Properties, the Blackstone Group, RXR Realty, and Brookfield Properties Corporation.
