FXFowle is an architecture firm in New York City, founded in 1978 by Bruce Fowle. It specializes in environmentally friendly construction and residential buildings. Its project portfolio includes the 52-story New York Times Building at 620 Eighth Avenue, the headquarters of law firm Proskauer Rose LLP at 11 Times Square, the former Condé Nast Building at 4 Times Square, and the 32-story Thomson Reuters Building at 3 Times Square. Taken together, these buildings transformed Times Square from a sex shop cluster to a business, media, and tourist hub. The Durst Organization, the developer, commissioned the buildings, as well as many others, including rental towers The Helena at 601 West 57th Street and The Epic at 125 West 31st Street from the architecture firm. For another developer, Toll Brothers, FoxFowle designed Northside Piers, a 1.5 million-square-foot waterfront condominium complex on the Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
