GFI Capital Resources Group is a privately held Manhattan-based real estate developer specializing in residential high-rises, hotels and commercial real estate. It also provides property management services and insurance. Its New York hotels include the boutique 269-room Ace at 20 West 29th Street and the 168-room NoMad at 1170 Broadway. It developed its hotels in partnerships, and some of those partnerships soured and devolved into lawsuits and countersuits. Its residential projects include the Albero condominium in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. GFI's commercial real estate brokerage and management division operates as GFI Realty Services.
