HPNY

Ivan Hakimian started the investment sales firm HPNY in early 2011 after six years in the real estate industry. He at the time specialized in off-market sales of retail and multi-family properties, particularly those trading for under $50 million.

While Hakimians firm specializes in all asset types and classes, it, like its founder, still plays in the mid-range retail-and-residential pool of New York City real estate. Deals in 2015 involving HPNY included West Chelsea walk-up apartment buildings retailing for $35.5 million and a retail condo in Tribeca that went for $30 million.

HPNY, also known as Hakimian Properties, is headquartered at 358 Fifth Avenue and has a half-dozen brokers, including its namesake founder.
