Imperial Companies is a real estate investment and development company founded by former Vornado Realty Trust president and CEO, Michael Fascitelli. The company formed just over a year after Fascitelli left Vornado in April of 2013. In an interview in September 2014, Fascitelli said he was looking to get back into real estate with “value-added development opportunities.” Imperial Companies ambitious first project is the development of 509 West 38th Street, a 30 story building with 225 residential units and 13,636 square feet of ground floor retail space.
