    JLL, formerly called Jones Lang LaSalle, is a commercial real estate firm headquartered in Chicago. The NYSE-listed firm provides services that cover agency leasing, capital markets, tenant representation, real estate investment banking, merchant banking, property management, corporate finance, facilities management, hotel advisory, construction, energy and sustainability services, valuations, value recovery and receivership services, consulting and investment management. As of September 2015, the firm employed 58,000 people across 230 corporate offices worldwide in 80 countries, according to its website. The firm claims roots in 18th-century London, but the modern iteration dates from mergers in the 1960s and 1970s. Its New York office opened in 1975.

    JLL was ranked no. 4 in The Real Deal’s annual investment sales ranking covering 2016.
