JPMorgan Asset Management is a leading asset manager for individuals, advisors and institutions. The firm, with assets under management of $1.7 trillion (as of December 31, 2014), is headed by Mary Callahan Erdoes.
The firm boasts more than 400 professional real estate staff covering portfolio management, acquisitions, asset management, accounting, legal, risk control, joint ventures, leasing, workouts, dispositions, debt capital markets, appraisal and valuation, engineering, and environmental issues.

In 2013 JPMorgan Asset Management paid roughly $750 million for a 31-story office tower at 425 Lexington Avenue, Crains reported at the time. It bought the building from Houston-based Hines. The firm also advised on 2013s priciest full-building sale of the year (TRD looked at minority interest and equity stake sales separately), the $1.35 billion sale of an office tower at 650 Madison Avenue to a joint venture comprised of Oxford Properties, Steven Roths Vornado Realty Trust, Crown Acquisitions, Highgate Holdings and a group of institutional investors.
