JTRE Holdings is a full-service commercial real estate firm with a portfolio of commercial assets worth more than $400 million. Founded in 2008 by Jack Terzi, the firm has tried to distinguish itself by specializing in property assessments and marketing services. Among its completed deals are the repositioning of retail at 1000 Sixth Avenue, and the purchases of buildings at 240 East 54th Street and 63 Spring Street. The firm also has latched onto the popularity of the NoMad Hotel, purchasing 6-8 West 28th Street for $15.5 million (its fourth property in that area). JTRE has also been bullish on the potential of the Second Avenue subway line, purchasing a five-story rental building at 53rd and Second for $20 million in 2015 and closing on a $21 million acquisition of a garage on 54th Street. In 2013 the firm as hired Organic Avenue as its exclusive broker.
