LIVWRK is a Brooklyn-based real estate developer and manager. The firm was founded in 2013 by Asher Abehsera, who had worked at Two Trees Management for nearly a decade. The firm has focused most of its efforts on Brooklyn, where one of its first acquisitions was the $375 million Watchtower portfolio, five industrial buildings and a hotel in the Dumbo neighborhood owned by the Jehovahs Witnesses that LIVWRK has redeveloped as a work campus and retail destination. LIVWRK partnered with RFR Realty, Jared Kushner and Invesco on the deal and has continued to work on purchasing other Jehovahs Witnesses properties, including the groups iconic headquarters at 25-30 Columbia Heights. The firm also has developed elsewhere in Brooklyn, including an office conversion in Red Hook. In 2015, Samson Management purchased LIVWRKs redeveloped industrial building at 92 Third Street in Gowanus for $73 million. LIVWRK had purchased the 90,000-square-foot building a year earlier with FirstMark Capital for about $20 million.
