    Madison International Realty is a private equity firm that provides joint venture and preferred equity capital for real estate investors. Focusing entirely on existing propertiesno developments hereMadison has raised more than $2 billion in capital commitments from institutional investors, investing that money in more than 100 million square feet of commercial property. With offices in New York City, Germany, and London, the firm has partnered with several leading New York firms, including RFR realty on the Eastbridge Landing joint venture in Kips Bay and a deal at 666 Third Avenue. The firm also has taken on ownership of shopping centers and other commercial areas in San Francisco and in Portugal. In 2014 Madison raised more than $825 million for one of its liquidity funds to purchase interests in Songbird Estates. In 2016 Madison sold its stake in a 15-building retail portfolio across New York City and neighboring New Jersey to JLL Income Property Trust.
