Okada & Company is a full-service real estate firm. In 2006 Okada opened its doors, assisting such companies as Wolfgang Steakhouse, Dainobu USA, and IDT Corp. in acquiring and disposing of properties. Founded and run by second-generation commercial real estate executive Christopher Okada, the eponymous firm has since become a moderate brokerage firm in the market. Its growth has also coincided with a new influx of fellow Japanese real estate investors into New York City, as many of Okadas clientele is based in Japan. In 2012, Okada expanded, forming its development and management division, growing the companys portfolio to more than $120 million in market value. With that new division, the company moved into Midtown and Downtown Manhattan, focusing on commercial real estate at sites such as 45 West 34th Street, 432 West 52nd Street, and 148 West 24th Street.
