Look no further than the biggest New Years Eve celebration every year to get a glimpse of Sherwood Equities. The real estate developer, through its affiliate Sherwood Outdoor, owns and manages the billboards at both the north and south ends of Times Square and where the New Years ball drops every New Years celebration. Sherwood Equities also has a number of premier New York City properties in its portfolio including One and Two Times Square, The Saratoga at 75th Street, and 1600 Broadway but it is also has a significant presence on Long Island. All told it has more than 1 million square feet of Class-A Industrial properties. Sherwood has shed some of its bigger Manhattan properties in recent years, selling 370 Lexington Avenue and two parcels near the High Line in 2015. But it isn't leaving those neighborhoods, as the firm has development planned at both 20th and 21st Streets and a condo building in the Flatiron District.
