SHVO is a real estate development company founded by Michael Shvo,a New York City broker-turned-real estate developer. According to the company, SHVO currently has over $4 billion in development across prime locations in Manhattan and the Caribbean, including the transformation of Manhattans iconic Crown building.

SHVO is known for highly stylized developments that incorporate elements from the worlds of fashion and contemporary art. Projects include the Philippe Starck-designed Gramercy, 20 Pine that features Armani Casa-designed interiors, and The Lumiere on 53rd Street.

Shvo, who was born in 1972 and grew up in Israel, got his start in real estate as a broker at Prudential Douglas Elliman. He joined the residential brokerage in 1999 and left in 2004 to found SHVO. Shvos business ventures faltered during the financial crisis and his Rector Square condominium entered foreclosure while already occupied. His fortunes have rebounded in tandem with the market. He has a BA from Bar-Ilan University in Israel and is married to Seren Ceylan, a Turkish model.
