Stribling & Associates is a residential real estate brokerage firm in New York City that specializes in high-end home sales. Elizabeth Stribling founded her namesake firm in 1980 with seven other brokers. Projects that were under its purview include the boutique Nolita condo 211 Elizabeth and One Hanson Place, the downtown Brooklyn conversion that created 179 condos in the old Williamsburg Savings Bank Building. It also marketed the Plaza Hotel condominium conversion. However, the brokerage is aiming to shake its stuffy pearls-and-vintage-Chanel image. Leading by example, its founder decamped from the Upper East Side to Brooklyn, where she bought a condo. -TA
