Taconic Investment partners is a developer and operator of commercial and residential properties, with a strategy of investing in high-quality assets, both new builds and repositioning plays. The company has been involved in deals for more than 12 million square feet of commercial space and more than 3,000 residential units, primarily in New York, since 1997.

Notable deals include the $200 million sale, jointly with Thor Equities, of Samsung's offices at 837 Washington Street in the Meatpacking District, a record price in the neighborhood. In one of the largest urban renewal projects in the history of New York, Taconic, L+M Development Partners and BFC Partners are developing Essex Crossing, a 1.9 million-square-foot mixed-use project on the Lower East Side. The site, formerly known as the as the Seward Park Urban Renewal Area, will feature a 14-screen movie theater at the corner of Essex and Delancey Streets as well as affordable residential units.
