Andrew Roos is a principal and vice chairman responsible for the tristate area at Colliers International. Roos joined Colliers, a commercial real estate services firm that as of March 2015 was a subsidiary of Toronto-based FirstService, in 1976. The then family-owned firm operated as GVA Williams. He has worked on the development, sale, and repositioning of more than $1 billion worth of real estate and the leasing of more than 40 million square feet. The Roos family, together with the Cohen and Carmel families, also associated with GVA Williams and Colliers, own several buildings in New York City.

Roos clients include the United Nations, Holland & Knight, Marks Paneth & Shron LLP, and Xerox. As a building owner, Roos has concluded transactions with Loews Corporation, Estee Lauder, Nike, and AppNexus. As of March 2015, he was an advisory board member at New York University. He has a bachelors degree from American University. From 1997 to 2006, Roos was the victim of embezzlement by his personal assistant, Agnes Dickinson. Dickinson pleaded guilty to grand larceny, forgery, money laundering, and filing a false tax return and was convicted. -MK
