Burton Resnick was the chairman and chief executive officer of Jack Resnick & Sons for 30 years. He died in late 2020, aged 83.

Founded by Burton Resnick's father in 1928, the family firm owns and manages more than 6million square feet of office & retail space, including 5 million square feet of offices in Midtown and Downtown, and has developed thousands of luxury residences.

Resnick entered the business in 1956 after receiving a B.A. from the University of Chicago.
