    Christopher Perez is the top Stateside executive for leasing and asset at Mitsui Fudosan, the real estate investment subsidiary of the Tokyo-based Mitsui Group.

    The firms New York City holdings include the 2.4 million-square-foot 1251 Avenue of the Americas (site of its headquarters); 55 Hudson Street, a 1.3 million-square-foot office building; 527 Madison Avenue, a boutique office building of 240,000 square feet; and the 41-story rental building at 160 Madison Avenue, under construction as of summer 2015. Mitsui Fudosan often buys and trades significant stakes in these and other holdings; and also controls properties in Washington, San Francisco and Hawaii.

    Before being promoted to his current position in 2008, Perez was he firms vice president of asset management and leasing. And prior to that, he held other jobs at Mitsui Fudosan, which he joined in 1988. He has been directly responsible for leasing 2 million square feet for the firm. Past tenants include Banco Santander, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Chubb, DLA Piper and JPMorgan Chase.
