    Darcy A. Stacom is a vice chairman and the head of the Investment Properties group at CB Richard Ellis (CBRE), a commercial real estate company. In 2006, she arranged the $5.4 billion sale of Stuyvesant Town and Peter Cooper Village to developer Jerry Speyer on behalf of Metropolitan Life. In 2007, Crains named her the most powerful woman in New York. She has completed more than $50 billion in sales and other transactions.

    Stacom, who was born in 1959, got her start in the real estate business at Cushman & Wakefield and comes from a family of brokers who work or worked at the firm. She left Cushman & Wakefield in 2002 to join CBRE.

    She graduated from Lehigh University. Stacom is married to Chris Kraus, a managing director at rival brokerage Jones Lang LaSalle, and the couple has two daughters, Teal and Amber.
