David Maundrell III is founder and president at real estate brokerage firm Apartments and Lofts, which he hopes will one day be recognized as the premier real estate brokerage firm outside of Manhattan. Maundrell founded the company in 2002 and today it has three locations in Brooklyn and provides consultation and marketing services in Queens. Maundrell also worked as a real estate broker at Crifasi Real Estate, an appraisers assistant at Mitchell, Maxwell & Jackson, and a marketing director at NY Auto before opening his own shop. Maundrell, who was named in 2008 as one of the 50 most influential people in Brooklyn real estate by Brownstoner.com, graduated with a degree in marketing from St. Johns University. Maundrell is a board member of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce and an active member of the Brooklyn Open Space Alliance. His father, who worked in banking for years, is now one of Maundrells real estate brokers.
