Donald Zucker

Donald Zucker is a New York City real estate developer. He co-founded the Zucker Organization in 1977. He got into the real estate business by becoming a mortgage broker in 1956, and in 1961, he established a mortgage brokerage and development firm, the Donald Zucker Co. He fought in the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955. In 1952, Zucker received a B.S. from New York University. He also attended NYU'’s Graduate School of Business Administration, the City College of New York and Pratt Institute. Zucker grew up in Brooklyn and attended public schools. He has seven children: two sons, two daughters and three stepsons. His daughter Laurie followed him into the business and is a principal at the family firm.
