Douglas Harmon is a chairman of capital markets at Cushman & Wakefield. Harmon and frequent partner Adam Spies left Eastdil Secured for Cushman & Wakefield in October 2016.

Harmon is one of New York Citys busiest investment sales brokers in terms of the value and scope of his deals. Since 1997, he has sold or recapitalized more than $150 billion in transactions, most of them in New York City. In 2013 alone, Harmon brokered $25 billion worth of sales, including seven building each valued at more than $1 billion; these included the Time Warner Center, Worldwide Plaza and 1211 Avenue of the Americas.

Since his real estate career started in 1985, and especially since he joined Eastdil in 1993, Harmon has been involved in some of the citys most high-profile property trades, including ones involving the General Motors Building, the International Toy Center, Chelsea Market, the Apthorp and Googles nearly $2 billion purchase of 111 Eighth Avenue.

Harmon graduated from Brown and earned an MBA from UCLA.
