Jeffrey Citrin is the founder, along with business partner Craig Solomon, of Square Mile Capital Management LLC, a New York City-based real estate investment firm. He goes by Jeff and is a lawyer by training. In 1994, Citrin co-founded Blackacre Capital Management, the real estate arm of private equity firm Cerberus Capital Management, L.P. The Blackacre division is now known as Cerberus Real Estate Capital Management, LLC. Citrin remained at Blackacre until 2006, when he founded Square Mile. Before Blackacre, Citrin was a managing director at Oppenheimer & Co., Inc., now CIBC Markets, in charge of the firms commercial mortgage investment unit. From 1991 to 1993, he served as a vice president at First Boston, now Credit Suisse, where he was a founding member of the firms real estate principal group. From 1986 to 1991, he was a vice president in the real estate investment banking unit of Chemical Bank, now JP Morgan. From 1983 to 1986, he worked as an attorney in the real estate divisions of two New York law firms, Proskauer Rose LLP and Kelley Drye & Warren. Citrin graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College with a BA in Government in 1980 and received a JD from Columbia University Law School in 1983. In August 1982, he married Rona Beth Hollander, now Rona Citrin. The couple live in Greenwich, Connecticut and have a daughter, Alexandra, and two sons, Andrew and Charles.  -MK
